Client first

Our work is based on values which bind us to the highest possible professional standards. ‘Client first’ is the most important principle of everything we do. For us, putting the client’s interests first means that we only accept a new mandate if our consultants are convinced that we can significantly contribute to resolving the challenges the client faces. ADVICE PARTNERS commits itself to comply with the code of conduct of the German Association of Political Consultants, the Code de Lisbonne of the Confederation Europeenne des Relations Publiques (CERP), and the online guidelines of the German Public Relations Council.

A crisis can be triggered by a variety of factors: product damages, accidents, blackmail or extortion, violent conflicts, epidemics, rumors, supply shortages, data theft, environmental scandals, court proceedings, and many more. Such incidents affect a wide range of organizations – international corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Communication often has a low priority in the operative chaos which accompanies a crisis. Wrongly so. Even if the cause of a crisis has already been dealt with, the consequences of a lack of or incorrect communication can harm a company’s reputation in the long term. The good image is gone. In extreme cases, this goes hand-in-hand with considerable material and financial damage. Today, before making purchase decisions, consumers often research the reputation of the company. Equally, future employees also want to work for a “decent business”.

In the digital age, the saying “today’s news is tomorrow’s fish and chips papers” is no longer true. A glance at ranking companies google results is often enough to show that past crises are not easily erased from the public record and can have a significant and lasting impact on a company’s reputation.

CRISIS COMMUNICATION

We develop tailored solutions for you so that your issues and concerns are heard. We meticulously analyze your business environment and potentials – and at the same time keep an eye on potential limits to guide you reliably through the various political processes.

In addition to short-term goals, dealing with long-term management issues is an additional challenge. Whether it is a smoldering conflict or a sudden change of public opinion, issue management is the right answer to deal with the challenges that your organization is facing in the long term.

The more companies share your concerns, the better. Finding the right alliance partners – also across industries – and using them to the benefit of your organization is crucial. Equally important is coordinating and consolidating common interests. Because the more supporters you can find for your cause, the more weight it carries with stakeholders.

POLITICAL COMMUNICATION/PUBLIC AFFAIRS

With targeted and proven instruments, we examine the foundation of your change. We involve all relevant stakeholders – managers as well as employees. We perform reputation and media analyses. We evaluate relevant stakeholder’s positions with regard to their specific significance for the project.

In the beginning, there are different scenarios for all change projects. For all these eventualities we prepare communication concepts because only very rarely can rely on the same pattern. This also means that at different times and with different courses of events, a different story has to be told. We support you in strategy and planning and, if necessary, help you to further develop the scenarios or adapt them to new developments.

Whatever strategic measures you plan to implement – our change specialists support you with their specifically tailored expertise. We develop the right strategies to involve employees in the project regardless of their position in the company. We moderate workshops and (large) group events, coach specialists and managers and accompany you and your team through regular feedback.

CHANGE COMMUNICATION

Investor relations and IPO communications, in particular, are subject to a strict set of rules, making it all the more important to master mandatory requirements at the same time as freely chosen, individual aspects one wants to stress. This applies to the IR presentation and financial publications as well as to communication with all target groups – from institutional investors and analysts to the financial media and private investors.

The aim of media work is, on the one hand, to make the company and its strengths known, to report continuously and comprehensibly on its development and to shed light on its background. However, on the other hand, it is also a matter of presenting relevant topics or shedding new light on them to highlight one’s competence. Business journalists expect facts and figures, but also pointed views on markets, technologies, and future developments.

Company owned publications for directly addressing target groups offer great potential – provided they offer the reader real added value, are professionally written and designed. Well-prepared content with news value can also be used several times for different communication channels, ideally even for media work.
